Mathew Hintz, the Official Artist of Daytona Bike Week, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 41 on December 24, leaving a wife and four children ages 6 – 13. His 2018 Daytona Bike Week painting was the last piece of artwork he completed before his death. Mathew Hintz spent more than 20 years of his life perfecting his craft, which graced the posters for the 74th, 75th, and 76th anniversaries of Bike Week making this year’s poster the fourth and final in a series of amazing work. Daytona International Speedway is proud to announce that American Flat Track will debut its 2017 season inside the “World Center of Racing” on a one-of-a-kind .6-mile TT course. The DAYTONA TT, scheduled on the evening of Thursday, March 16, will feature powerful, twin-cylinder motorcycles in the AFT Twins class, while spirited single-cylinder machines will battle it out in AFT Singles.
